This Ford Mustang 1969-1973 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was assembled on February 7, 1969, at Ford’s San Jose, California, plant and was originally delivered to the Oklahoma City ordering district. It was acquired by the current owner approximately 20 years ago and refurbished, with work completing in 2005. Power comes from a 351ci V8 paired with an FMX three-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in Silver Jade over black vinyl upholstery. The car features air conditioning, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, a Flaming River steering box, KYB shocks, a JBA Performance exhaust system, AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, and a hidden Alpine stereo. This Mustang Mach 1 is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos and records and a clean Arizona title in the owner’s name.

The car is said to have received a replacement taillight panel, quarter panels, rear outer wheel wells, rear frame rails, trunk and front floor pans, front torque boxes, and a battery tray apron before being repainted in its factory Silver Jade with a matte black hood. A new windshield and body seals were also installed. Features include front and rear spoilers, rear window Sport Slats, chrome bumpers, hood pins, and a fixed hood scoop with integrated turn-signal indicators. Two paint chips are noted to the left of the hood scoop.

The 15×8″ Magnum 500 wheels are mounted with 245/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. A spare 15×7″ Magnum 500 wheel is mounted in the trunk. The driveshaft, control arms, coil springs, perches, leaf springs, U-bolts, and bushings were replaced during the refurbishment, and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and a Flaming River steering box were also installed. The brake system was refreshed with replacement front rotors, rear drums, a master cylinder and power booster, wheel cylinders, emergency brake cables, and stainless steel and rubber lines. The power steering pump is said to pulsate while turning at a standstill.

The cabin features high-back bucket seats that were reportedly refinished before the installation of new jute mat, burlap, and black vinyl upholstery. The dashboard, door panels, headliner, carpets, and shifter bushings were also replaced, the sail panels were reupholstered, and the Ford/Philco AM radio, wiring connectors, HVAC controls, and seatbelts were refreshed. A hidden Alpine sound system is fitted with controls mounted under the rear driver-side armrest. An uninstalled backup camera is included in the sale.

The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a Deluxe steering column with a replacement turn signal switch and a non-functional Speed Control switch. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and disconnected gauges for oil pressure, alternator, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The gauges and clock were reportedly refurbished in the 2000s, and a set of AutoMeter auxiliary gauges are mounted on the center console. Just over 7,100 miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, which is said to have been reset during the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown. The Rim-Blow horn is inoperable, and the removed Speed Control equipment is included in the sale.
