Pantip user Queenberries shared a photo of her miso soup which she claims was served to her with an ingredient not on the menu: a small cockroach.
The user explained she was dining at Sukishi, a Japanese chain restaurant at Central World, last Thursday when she discovered the roach in her soup. After complaining to the restaurant, she claims its manager showed an unbelievable amount of regret by offering nothing more than to replace her bowl of soup and a 20 percent discount. Probably from the same cockroach-infested pot, she figured.
Adding to the creep factor, she discovered upon paying her bill the discount didn’t apply to her entire bill. What did she get for her traumatic find? A scanty THB63.
Since the post went viral, Sukishi has not commented upon the incident, but has reportedly offered the user a gift voucher. She commented the value of the voucher has not been confirmed whether it will be THB500 or THB1000.
