I suspected this would be a bit of an hagiography, with celebs gushing lovely things about Spike Milligan. In a few places that is briefly partly true, but many contributions are insightful perspectives. The result is a fine, human obituary that doesn't deny his flaws but affectionately tolerates them as part of his genius.
