15 Successful Self Portraits for your Art Portfolio – PART 1

In this video we chose 15 Self Portraits to help inspire you while you’re working on your art portfolio. Each student was accepted in to at least one of the top art programs, usually all, and most with scholarships!

This student beautifully expressed her love of fashion design with her self portrait by including fabric, a sewing machine and a silkworm 

This student put together 4 pieces of paper, and she made her body up of hands. She created a floral shadow, and used a really strong background color

And this student took the standard of what we think if when we think of the word “portrait”, it’s almost framed as if it’s a school portrait, and over her what we imagine is a realistic painting of herself, she collaged idealized features making a statement about beauty standards.
