Ceramic Sculptures by Johnson Tsang is very emotive. His recent ceramic sculptures is titled as ‘Lucid Dreams’ and it shows people’s faces in various stages of pain. We can feel the sculptures wanting to break free into the happy world. The imaginative perception of the viewers is being pushed beyond it’s boundaries by his exquisite ceramic sculptures. The mind is so fragile like ceramic and surreality which surrounds it is simply astounding. The fluidity of people’s emotion and the physical motion which is involved, makes the viewers experience very beautiful. Since Johnson Tsang had worked in the police force, he has seen a lot of people in pain and some very dangerous situations, now all that pain he felt is being converted into his ceramic sculptures.
