    perfect for discussion about colours and pattern. Print 1 per child and go on a pattern hunt.

    Print two and then cut one into individual circles - match the pattern challenge. If you cut the whole poster into strips and glue individual circles to pegs it could double as a finger gym activity too.

    I really like that there is a variety of patterns on one page, and that there are plants. It will be a prompter for children generating their own patterns to break out of the regular shape patterns taught in maths. (This is for a computer lessons on patterns.)
